Parking
You can park your vehicles either in the parking bay directly below the Baite (which has space for one larger car and possibly one smaller car) or right at the turnoff onto Via Ronco Nuovo in the parking spots on the right-hand side. If you park in the parking bay, you’ll need to turn your vehicle around later, either there or at the end of the path. This requires maneuvering 2–3 times.
There is also a charger for electric cars at the parking bay. If needed, we can provide you with the key. Since it charges slowly, we recommend plugging in your car overnight.
Prices/Included Services
Our prices include all utilities such as electricity, heating, and final cleaning, as well as the following included services:

- Soft towels, hair dryer, and natural shampoo and shower gel
- Basic food supplies (see below)
- Mid-stay cleaning and towel changes for stays of 7 days or more

The base rates are for two cabins and 5 people. Children can also sleep on the loft of Baita TRE. For children under 2 years of age, we are happy to provide a crib and high chair for a flat rate of 30 euros per stay.
The minimum stay is generally 7 nights. Shorter stays may be possible on short notice upon request or will be made available in the booking calendar. However, since the cleaning and maintenance requirements—including the outdoor area—are very high, shorter stays are normally not possible.
Keys
You’ll receive details about key pickup after booking. However, late check-in is also possible.
Basic Groceries
We provide a starter kit of coffee beans and capsules, milk, two bottles of Aqua Frisia—our local mineral water—and a small welcome gift. We also provide basic groceries such as salt, pepper, vinegar, and oil.
Shopping Options in the Immediate Area
A small supermarket where you’ll find everything you need for daily shopping. They also offer a wide variety of local products (e.g., milk, yogurt, and eggs straight from Mese, as well as cheese and cold cuts from the valley), and there’s a large fresh food counter that includes bread.

Bread, pizza slices, fresh pasta, sweets. There is also a small counter with vegan and gluten-free products.

Quintino Butcher Shop (3.2 km)
In the neighboring town of Gordona, you’ll find what is likely the longest meat counter far and wide.

Iperal Prata Camportaccio (6.5 km)
The largest supermarket in the valley where you can find absolutely everything. Also open all day on Sundays.

Hikes
Carolin is a certified mountain hiking guide in Lombardy (AMM/Accompagnatore di Media Montagna or International Mountain Leader) and, as part of ALTRA VIA, regularly leads hikes in Valchiavenna, Valtellina, and around Lake Como. Several times a year, dedicated leisure hiking weeks and yoga hiking retreats are also offered. You can find more information at www.altravia.de and www.bergundbalance.de.
